A friend of mine has just split up with her husband , when she came home yesterday she found that when he came round to collect his stuff , had taken their 3 year old GSD and had it put down out of spite.
She managed to track down the vet and he was told that the dog had bitten a child so he destroyed it there and then.
I really feel for her , she is devistated, the dog never hurt a fly , it was just pure spite.

:( One things for sure, she is doing the right thing freeing herself from such an obviously brutal and heartless man.

That's sick! I wonder how she'd stand here legally seeing as you have to sign a consent form to have an animal PTS and if he wasn't the sole owner........ With our vets when I re-married I made sure to add my husband's name to all of my animals registered with the vets so that he would be able to sign in an emergency, otherwise I'd have to be present every time including for operations etc, and who knows when there could have been an emergency.

Sincerely hope the spirit of the GSD haunts him forever.

I'd sue the arse off him B*%$%^$%^ for distress caused
and also perhaps report the unmentionable to the RSPCA/Police
so that he can never ever do that to another animal or the 'next'
partner who has animals.
Sounds like he's got a few 'mental' problems perhaps he should be
reported to the Police for mental instability too.
