I've never really been on a holiday for years due to the dogs and so parents not going however I'm going on holiday this christmas and new year to Thailand! :D  Really excited.  going over with boyfriend, staying with his parents over christmas in Chaing Mai and then spending new year with his friends and their family in Puket.

I will have the advantage of boyfriend having lived in both these areas so my own personal tour guide!

Really excited now, hopefully it will mean I go back to january exams chilled out and relaxed, hopefully have left enough time to get over jet lag! :D

You must be really excited - know I would be.  Eat my share of Thai Food while you're there...

I plan to eat, shop, explore....and revise :(

Roxanne - you will absolutely love it!!!   Phuket is a wonderful place ......even the "tacky bars" - it is beautiful .   Chaing Mei is wonderful too!   The sunsets.......the scents.... the smells.........just everything!

PS and there are baby elephants (and big elephants too) ......

Yup know about the elephants and I'm going to ride one hopefully!!! :D

Talking of elephants!  If you're going to ride on one make sure its got a proper seat to sit in.  DO NOT do as I did in Sri Lanka and perch on the animals back holding onto a bit of string.  You can't sit astride it either as it's too big (ouch ).  Only one thing worse than riding on an elephant and that's a camel.  On my list of things never to do again!!  Have a good time :)

Wow it's come round so fast, I leave on thursday morning!!!!  Going back home from uni today so my (lovely, wonderful etc etc etc) Dad can take us to gatwick in the morning (about 6:30ish!!!!!)

It's still not quite sunk in that I won't be here for 3 weeks....

I'm sure I'll be able to pop onto CD whilst I'm out there...just on a very slow connection!!!!! :D
