Topic Dog Boards / Showing / what penalty for a cheat?

I have recently heard of someone who exhibited under a judge who had boarded her dogs within the last 12 months. I understand the kc are refusing to send her her CC confirmation and  the wholer affair is now under their investigation....so what i am wondering is.....what sort of punishment can she expect (she is also  kcmember!) and likewise what for the judge? slapped wrists or a ban from showing?

The judge won't get any comeback as it's not their fault the dogs were entered under them and you have to judge what comes under you.

I doubt very much that they'll be banned from showing.  To do that you have to go through a disciplinary hearing in front of the  KC panel.  More likely a disqualification of the CC and maybe a £50 fine.  It happens all the time - people forget or just don't think about it, but hardly any CCs are taken away.  This is because the KC obviously don't know who's dogs are boarding with whom, there has to be a complaint first and very few people complain.

Actually the judge can get sanctioned If my memory serves me right Malcolm Griffiths & a dogs owner both got into trouble for just this very same contravention of KC rules
