well tests has confirmed she has lymphoma. they have found two lumps. one in her tummy and one in her chest. we are going to go ahead with chemo and see how she gets on with it because she seems too well and happy to give up on her and she is only 2. its devestating. im 8 months pregnant and was really looking forward to all our walks with baby, hubby and cleo (dog!). we have even bought 2 pushchairs, one for dog walking and one for shopping etc, and a new car to fit baby and doggy in. its so strange to think she wont be here for it all. she is at a specialist unit in essex and we are hoping to have her home tomorrow or thursday, then we are going to spoil her rotten for the rest of her days.

I'm so very sorry - it must be heartbreaking for you.   But you do have the right attitude which I admire so much.  Enjoy her, and love her whilst she is with you - you will have the memories afterwards.

So sorry to hear about this, hopefully the chemo will buy you some precious time together.

Tragic.  Hope the chemo helps and that she can still enjoy some quality time. My heart goes out to you.

It's always sad to get such a diagnosis but at just two years old ... as AlisonGold says, it's tragic.

Hope the chemotherapy goes ok.

So very sorry.
My Lab had this, we went the chemo route, she never suffered any ill effects from chemo and had quality of life right up until the end.

So sorry to hear this we had rough times with different devestating condition, we did chemo and ours sailed through it, don't give up hope, I know its bleak, we got lucky, sadly this is rare but so far we are winning with chemo, diet, etc (over 6 years on and bone cancer) I reccommend you see an 0ncologist if you haven't yet seen one. If you have time go to http://bracken-canine-bone-cancer.piczo.com it tells brackens story.  Thinking of you and hope everything goes better than you hope, there are alot of drugs now that can help, we also went with the apricot kernels b17 anything was worth a try

Sad news indeed. I hope Cleo responds well to the chemo and will be able to enjoy loads of outings with the newly expanded family.
