Took my old girl who's nearly 13 to water training today and after the first hour of torrential rain the sun came out and we all managed to train the dogs in brilliant sunshine :d

My old girl was wonderful.  Brought the canoe it, retreived 4 times and did 3 under water retrieves.  All in her own time of course, bless her, but she did them :d  Think next time will definitely be her last but she still enjoyed it and is now sat downstairs all wide awake, thought that she would of fallen to sleep.

To top it all a family who are interestee in the breed came and had two lovely sons one of which had Down's and Lydia and the two boys really bonded and went for a couple of walks etc.  So we had a brilliant day.

Sounds like the sort of day that leaves you hugging your dogs and smiling at the end of it, thinking how lucky you are to have such fabulous dogs to love
