:-)
Wendy i've been looking forward to going to a small Open show in October, have shown since August and am missing it. Reading your psot reminded me to have a look at the schedule and staring me in the face is one entry form filled in and not sent. Closing date was a week ago :D

It might well be worth ringing the secretary, I have sent in late entries and been accepted. :-)

Well i'll give it a go, i didn't think of that, keep your fingers crossed fpr me :-)

I have done this too - the secretary claimed she was unable to read postmarks very well!!! as in reality they are not supposed to but every entry helps! Fingers crossed for you!

I did something similar, planned our holiday in greece so that it wouldn't clash with the munster circuit. Booked the week of the circuit off work, a week before the first show i found all 4 envelopes in the glove box of my van. I had forgotten to post them. Gutted.

At an open show a few years ago , we had just pulled up in the car park, and as we were unloading the car there was a lady in the bay next to hours and her phone went off, it was her husband telling her that she had forgotten to take the dogs!!!

i was with a friend and it was about 4am she pulled up outside my house and i got into the car and said to her by god what have you done sedated them as they usually greeted me quite noisely oh god she said they are still at home, so another hour trip back to her place to pick up her dogs,
i have known people get to the show and have taken the wrong dog with them
