Sorry, sorry not wanting to have a go, but this site is really interesting and should be read by everyone considering wanting a Labradoodle.  Makes you wonder how so many of the original breeders have pulled out of promoting the breed.  Unfortunately the greed of some I presume.  A shame really because I'm sure if they'd been bred with health tested parents etc. and people had done their best maybe by now they would have been a recognised breed.

Very interesting. Not that I would go looking for one. I just don't like them.

Fantastic site full of very interesting items, maybe Bruce Fogle should read that before he promotes them again.

To be fair a lot ARE bred with health tested parents, at least in the UK.

Loved this bit on the site:

Puggles will be widely available at a fraction of the cost early 2007 in your local animal shelter. They go under their secret identities - "Pug Cross", and "Beagle Cross".

I actually saw a Labradoodle for the first time today.  Off lead playing and very sociable - played with my dog (big step for me if you've seen last posts).  It was quite hyper and big, the owners couldnt control it at all - had no recall - but maybe just because he was having fun with my dog.  I think I'd prefer a lab though - it just looked odd - lab colour (white/fawn/cream  or whatever the official colour is), lab size but frizzy coat..........
