I have just had some Tulip bulbs delivered , is it ok to plant them now or do I have to
wait till November, as I have a feeling that I read somewhere that they should be planted
in November and Daffodils earlier in the Autumn.but I'm not sure.
thanks Paxo

I have given up with planting bulbs - as fast as I plant them Harley digs them up again and I believe I read somewhere they are poisonous. Oh well they might have taken one's eye off the craters in the lawn :D

Yes, you are right, the general rule of thumb is that Daffs can be planted early in Autumn, and Tulips later.  However, I tend to plant them all late Sept or early Oct and they all come through just fine.

bye
