Our dog 'sings' to the eastenders theme tune and only that tune, have tried lots of other kinds of music but nothing - just wondered if anybody elses has a favourite tune?

Hi Debs

Snap, my GSD sings to the ice cream van. Only one though, we have quite a number down our road, I think it's 'The Entertainer', but at a very high pitch. Mind you I can also hear other dogs joining in who don't live too far away. It always makes me smile!!

Yep - a very full repertoire  although their favourite is the bedroom telephone (a higher pitched tone than the others :D )

One of our border collies just sings for the pleasure of it. She sits and woo woos to us all the time, especially if we join in. The younger one has just started to listen to Corrie and started to howl a bit but hasn't done it since the first time. The third collie occasionally goes woh woh woh, usually after she has been playing with the younger one. It keeps us laughing. :-)

My hounds do a 'Barber Shop Sextet' at dawn & dusk without anything to set them off. They stand in a rough circle and sing to each other. I think it sounds nice, especially as the IW sings basso profundo to the deerhounds' tenors and baritones. It only becomes unfunny is when the girls are in season. Then the song of the sex starved IW sounds like a very loud, very persistent foghorn!

TYBY, My staffy sings to the antiques road show too, has done since he was a puppy, he sings to my mobile phone, and police or anything with a siren, which can be a bit embarrasing if one passes whilst out walking   My lurcher sings at my staffy singing.

When my staffy was a puppy, we would take him for a walk every night after eastenders, so when ever he hears the "duff duff" I have to mute the TV otherwise he goes crazy, he has never forgot.  even if he has just been out he will still get excited at the music

heehee, my Abby sings, she likes Eastenders and Casualty on the telly, but if shes really in the mood shell sing along to Evanescence, any reggae, qutie a lot of ska punk (she likes The Mighty Mighty Bosstones), .... most things get her singing!

Only very occasionally, will theboys join in on backing vocals... its a er, sight to behold!

I love opening silly threads like these. Its so unexpected and really funny...im sitting here laughing my head off.

I have had dogs that sing before. She used to like the old 6 o'clock news tune and I dont know if anyone remembers but years ago (eighties I think) there was actually a record (yes.. vinyl!) and the 'singers' were dogs barking away. She liked that too :)

With this one, he sings when I dance. Obviously, we are entering next years X Factor and thank you in advance for buying our Christmas song when we win :D

Angelica my little Chi will run from wherever she is in the house or garden over three floors no matter what the volume just as soon as she hears the phrase "Cadbury's the latest edition to the street" just so that she can get to the TV on time to cock her head and sing joyfully to the Coronation Street theme tune. :)  I have it on Sky plus usually and give her another blast at the end, and she gets a treat for singing.

One of my girls sings quietly to herself every morning about 6.30 am without fail and she has done for the past nine and a half years.
