I am having a problem with an ebay seller.  I bid for, and won, a quite expensive bed.  They seemed very professional and rang up first thing the next morning to arrange delivery.  As I was buying it for a new house I didn't want it straight away and they agreed to store it until I needed it.  I have now been trying to ring them for the last couple of weeks: no answer, and no answering machine.  They are still trading on ebay (Power seller!!) and I have sent them a couple of emails, again no response.  What can I do?  The paypal moneyback thing only works if you claim for 30 days after purchase.  I am really worried that I am going to lose the item and my money.

Sorry - its not clear - did you pay for it over 30 days ago? If not, get onto paypal now...

Otherwise contact Ebay and sharpish. Perhaps they are on holiday at the moment?

Yes, I bought it at the end of June and they were storing it for me in their warehouse until I needed it.  I have contacted ebay and an waiting for their reply.  Hopefully you are right and they are on holiday at the moment, but I'm beginning to wish I'd just had it delivered straight away.  I assumed that because they were a powerseller they were reliable...

I'm not too sure but i even think you may have passed the time allowance to solve any dispute with the seller (i 'thought it was about 72 days) i hope not but anyway you can always pull the sellers details and call them.

Apologies just checked :

Buyer opens a dispute.
Buyers can open an Item Not Received or Significantly Not As Described dispute between 10-60 days after the transaction date (the date when the listing closes and the buyer commits to buying the item and the seller commits to selling it). When opening a dispute, the buyer indicates whether the item was not received or whether it was received but significantly not as described.

Thanks for that.  I've tried phoning and emailing and had no response whatsoever, so will go down the dispute route.
