I know this subject is done over and over...but today Jack had his first Chicken Wing......I have never seen any hting like it.
He just ran and hid under the table, didn't come out for breath til all was gone!
Thank you to all the advocates as it really took a bit of courage to brave giving one to him. He will certainly have them again.

I know exactly how you felt Karen, Jasper has been eating chicken wings since he was 10 weeks old (he is 5 months now) and I'm still a little apprehensive when he is eating them, he seems to 'gobble' them up really quickly!
Can somebody please explain to ignoramus me why it's ok to give chicken wings (raw, I presume?) when I've had it drummed into me since I was a child that "you mustn't give chicken bones because they might splinter, either in the throat or in the stomach"??
They're so cheap they'd be great, but I just want to be sure they're really safe before I feed them...
thanks

Chicken bones are soft & safe until they are cooked The cooking makes the bones brittle & dangerous
Wild dogs & wolves eat raw bones including birds
Thankyou MM

off to the butcher's tomorrow...Foxy will be v happy!
