After my last post on this subject, I stopped taking the ball on our walks and we have spent hours of training at home until she now brings the ball back.......now what about retrieve for the empty sports drinks bottles, pine cones, acorns, branches, rubbish of any description, tissue etc that she finds on the field instead, which she has substitued for the missing ball :)  Dogs, don't you just love 'em

Your lucky! I personally have chased and retrieved more tennis balls then either of my dogs.
They just dont get it.
So Im the nutcase running along the beach yelling'wheres the ball,wheres the ball,its mine! i got it' while they watch.

yep, I think I've seen you  - it was whilst I was trying to remove all the high tide debris before my dog got there first :)

:cool:just what is it about dead fish they just cant resist,I could always try chucking one of them up the beach.

Mine found a dead seagull oh I felt slightly queasy taking him home and the glade plug in ws no help:rolleyes:
