Has anyone tried Oster Whitening shampoo for horses?  and if so did it have any detrimental effects or is it just not wise to even think about using it (if that makes sense - sounded alright in my head!)  Thanks

Hiya.......yes, i use the black and the white, its fantastic for both, its very gloopy [ lovely word!] you have to dilute it and mix it really well, i use an old shampoo bottle and screw lid tight and shake it up like mad,i find itvery economical to use too
hope this helps

Hello again  - How did you do at the Champ show?  I'm going to Darlington on Sunday with my 7 month old, I'm hoping he'll walk on all four legs this time, only used two at Leeds still got VHC though which I thought was well done for his first time out - he was up against some strong opposition as you can imagine.  Anyway, back to shampoo - as mine are black and white parti if you use the black on their black bits would it stain the white if you get it on there by accident or when you're rinsing or do you do the black first and then the white? (I know these may seem like silly questions but I want him to look his best!  Nice to speak again.  Thank you

hi there, when i was a carriage driving groom for our horses very long socks we used to wash them in mild fairy washing powder and wow!! did they come up lovely and gleeming white, or after you wash them while they are still wet put aload of chalk on them bandage them till you get to a show and then brush them out and they look wonderful.  by the way we came 3rd in the world championships in america only being beat by the americans who had profesionals grooming there horses

Hi again..............the only ch show we didwhen Crystal was just 6 mths old wasn't good for u, she was such a babyand very imature to the others, but she has had 6 BOB Puppies at open shows ans 2 x puppy group 3 and 11 best in show puppy at companion shows and 2 best in show at comp shows too so i think she might be more ready now!......so we are doing 2 beagle ch shows soon and midland counties.........as you say, back to shampoo.........i use the black shampoo all over my beagles!..............it wont stain, just rinse until all the blue colour is gone, its not a dye, just an optical brightener.
best of luck
Pauline
