Hi
Funny you should say that

Last night I was watching the telly, it was getting late the curtains was open and the light was of. The moon rose from behind a house across the street and went high and across the sky. It was a full moon huge bright and lovely. Maybe because I was sitting with the lights of and curtains open it looked so different and it was a clear sky.

The dogs were ok but my rabbits were thumping light mad later in the evening and half the night. I kept going out to see what was bothering them but couldnt see anything. The dogs went out to and nothing. Wonder if it is the moon.

Do you think I can use that excuse if the neighbours come around to complain about the noise lol

but last night was a one off in a blue moon sorry to say that catch verse.

I noticed the moon on Thursday night too! It was massive and yellow and had what looked like a chunk missing at the bottom. It was gorgeous, but I have never seen the moon that size - ever.

Can't say the dogs acted any differently, but they're moonstruck most of the time

Yes, it was the full moon on Thursday night, and there was also a partial lunar eclipse which made the moon look as though some of it was missing. :)

Do you call it a Harvest Moon in the UK too?  It is supposed to be the first full moon in Sept. or Oct., depending which group of people you believe.  We notice we are more likely to hear the coyotes singing on full moon nights and more of them too.  It is such a treat to hear them.

No coyotes here - just screeching foxes :( :(
