we went the liverpool companion show and caitlin my 6yo daughter was enterd into best junior handler & out of 12 kids came 1st yayyyyyyyy :d

Whooo well done, I was going to go but went with my friend to the Champ show instead :d  Was there a brown and white Spanish Water Dog there?

7 year old grand daughter has just gone 2nd in Junior Handling at our local Rescue's Companion show, handling Beau!!  She's quite little, and he's quite big, and, according to Al, there was a bitch on heat nearby! :D

So Amber did well, too!

Im rearly proud of caitlin and so was the judge ,this was the first time shede done anything like thIS :)
meg wouldnt walk wen i was there so i had to stay in the car so meg would walk for caitlin, most of the other children enterd had obviosly been doing it a wile which makes it more special her getting first :)
The judge said with the correct training caitlin will do well :)
we come home with :
1st for junior handling (caitlin & meg) out of 12 kids enterd
4th/reserve for best puppy (ebz) out of 12 puppys enterd
4th/reserve for prettyest bitch (ebz)out of 11 bitches enterd
4th/reserve for av veterain dogs over 7yrs (meg) out of 4 enterd
2nd for veterain (meg) out of 2 enterd
not bad concidering it was our first ever show wede been 2,meg dusnt seem to like it much but ebony just took it in her stride :)
but nope there wasnt any spanish water dogs there dianne :)

Well Done, Caitlin & Amber, I find it hard enough being an adult, how these youngsters do it amazes me. Keep it up girls, move over here come the next generation.

Well done girls, I know, having Bobs doing juinior handling for almost a year now, how very exacting it is!
I think they have to be so precise with what they do, a lot of the adults don't really have a clue.
A lot of these children actually go up and down the country to shows just to do this!
So congratulations girls!
