Hi,
In the last week or so, ive noticed that Gonz is poo'ing (if thats spealt right) alot more. He used to go 3 times a day, basically on each walk. Now he goes 2 or 3 on each walk. He isnt eating or drinking anymore than he used to, actually, a little less to be honest. Hes wormed regular, actually last worming was 2 weeks ago. The walk in morning and evening is for about half an hour (lead walking), and he poos this much. The middle of the day walk is when hes off the lead for about 45 mins free running, and 15mins lead walking again. So in all he is going quite alot. Im sure thgis isnt normal, as isnt eating alot. He isnt losing weight either. Im bamboozled by it.
Hi, it seems to be the food. We only give out dogs James Wellbeloved or Trophy foods that are gluton free. This ensures that their stools are solid and they are not going all the time. When dogs are running off a lead they may go more due to the amount of exercise - this is quite normal.
Best of luck, I am sure you have nothing to worry about.

Hi
I have a GSD who is 11 years old. He was doing the same thing... going quiet and "pooing alot" I changed his diet to a gluten free diet and it certainly did help. He still remained quiet and just not himself so I took him to the vet... finally they diagnosed him as having pancriatitis. Now I know that and with the help of the vet, he is back to his normal self.
If you worried and you have tried changing his diet, put your mind at rest and take him for a check up.
