I was just on their website and have ended up slightly confused. why is the freshly frozen protein level 10% and the baked complete protein level 21.6%? I guess the freshly frozen packs need to be stored in the freezer? not frozen and then defrosted while still in the shop? which part of thier range would you recommend?

Is the 'baked complete' a dried food? If so the protein level will appear much higher because fresh food is about 80% water, and a dried food has most of that removed, so is much more concentrated.
i think my brain has stopped working tonight!! yes it is a dried complete.

You cannot compare apples with oranges.
In order to compare wet food with dried food you need to remove the moisture content which in dry food will be around 9% and for wet food around 75%
So for dry food Divide the percentage of protein the food contains on the label (say 22%) by the dry matter (91%) and mulitply by 100 to get the ACTUAL protein amount.
EG 22/91 x 100 = 24% protein.
Generally speaking you will find that wet food has a higher protein content than dry food. I suspect the wet food wil work out at circa 40% protein.
thanx for that. yes it is 40%. with that worked out, which one would you say would be better?
