ok time to pick some brains out there

as most of you know i have tess (20 month old bull mastiff cross french mastiff) and max (7 month old american bulldog cross english bulldog)

now the trouble  before we had tess spaded she turned funny with max not play fighting i mean bites , fur missing , i mean  the whole 9 yards full blow dog fight  there was no need for any of it and no it was not tess putting max in hes place because the fighting would start when he was laying down asleep, tess was spaded in august (12th).
now max is the one we are having trouble with (wondering if it was because tess was bullying him before:confused:) he now picks fights with tess ( for no reason) goes mad at other dogs ( fur up and trying to get to them)even been know to bark at people .

please help as it is driving me mad

Is Max neutered?
What level of training have they had?

I'd be inclined to let him get through puberty before being neutered so that he's had a chance to mature a little - although neutering isn't a guaranteed method of changing behaviour!

Many, Many moons ago I was advised by a really good friend of mine not to keep a Bullmastiff and any other mastiff type breed together I know people do it but generally it's not advised.
My advice is, if they cannot get on keep them apart.
And yes, dogs and bitches do and can fight.
