My pups just reached around 4 months and i read on a website its this age that their baby teeth begin to fall out and their adult teeth begin to grow in. However 2 of Mollys teeth have fallen out TODAY iv never seen teeth just drop out that frequently is this natural or is there a problem? She is eating Beta Pup and has had some small chew treats as part of her potty training etc but i dont think they are hard enough to knock out her teeth!
She doesnt seem to be in any pain and is eating fine regardless as they seem to be far back teeth. She does seem to be moving her mouth around in an odd way but we had assumed that was because the first tooth was loose not that there were a few loose ones!!
Hope you can help us, its worrying that we might be doing something wrong or she might have something wrong with her. I will feel terrible if its something stupid we have done!
Thanks
Richard.

she will shed alot more teeth to come aswell if she hasn't already! Mine has lost 3 now in a space of 24 hours. Nothing to worry about and don't be surprised if she does go off her food for a couple of days. all will probably be done by about 6 months and you'll be surprised how quickly the new teeth come through!

Perfectly normal! I actually think they benefit more from eating hard food and chews, rather than just having a 'soft' food diet! All the best, Dawn

don't worry, you can't feel as bad as I did with my first boy, i was playing tuggy and pulled a load of teeth out

It was only when I saw blood i checked his mouth as he showed no signs and then noticed the teeth on the floor and his mouth bleeding, although he wasn't bothered one bit I felt awful and there were no more tuggy games till teething was over with
Dont worry :D
Both of mine had a sudden tooth loss over a period of days, was finding teeth all over the floor!

I think my dog's teeth must have dropped out while she was eating her kibble and she ate them

I never found a baby tooth.

I have a set of about 10 teeth from Blade, but haven't seen hide nor hair of the puppies 3 missing ones?? have to keep them cos the kids think that the tooth fairy visits the dog too

:-D
Lol @ Emz77
I have my old dogs teeth in a toothfairy box! (from 19 years ago ) :D
All four of ours canine teeth came out within a day - the new ones were growing alongside the baby ones, and for a few days she looked terribly uncomfortable with the double sets of fangs!
We hardly saw more than a couple of our other dogs teeth, but have around 10-12 of this ones.
lil my first tt now 23 months lost 6 teeth in one day and 'boo' my 51/2 month old TT lost 4 one after the other last week while chewing on a carrot
