Hi
I have to design a book for children. The only problem is the fonts i have and can find all have the letter "a" as this and not as a child would write it for example a circle with a stick on. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to look for a free font?

Comis sans ms is a font that has the normal a! Do you not have this in your word? Don't know where you get free fonts from though - sorry!
Good luck

If you are talking about Windows/computers, then I'd suggest Comic Sans MS - otherwise, if it is to be printed by printers, then you can specify whichever print/font you want!

I use Comic Sans MS for all my stuff. Must be my simple childlike mind that drew me to it!! :D
i always use comic sans, i find it easier to read when going over work than the other fonts, the simple a explains it all :D

try 'kidprint' - very clear and looks just like kids writing - I use it at school for labels and notices etc.

Or Trebuchet. You need a sans serif font. Good for anyone with dyslexia too, remembering that takes into acount more than one in ten of the population.
