So come on you lot who went on the circuit, did you all have a good time and how did you all get on?? :) Small brag here as Lottie got a res green star, so did dougal (both wheaten terriers) and norman the 7 month old lakeland got res green star at dublin, res green star at limerick, green star major and BOB at killarney and Green star, BPIB and BOB at clonmel international :D So he had a great week! He was also in local limerick paper, telling them all about when he went up the chimney at the house we were stoppin in and came down covered in soot  :D There was only one bad part when dougal was attacked by another dog in the ring, the dog had broke free from his lead and while i had dougal stacked when the judge was looking at him, it came up behind dougal and grabed him by the neck  :( Thankfully hes ok, only a bit of bruising and his neck is swollen but seems fine. So did you all have a good week? :D

Well done Sarah on your wins !!!

We had a great week !!!!!! :D
Our first visit to Ireland, we got Green Star Dog and Best of Breed at Clonmel, Reserve Green Star Dog at Killarney and Green Star Dog and Best of Breed at Limerick......... we didn't enter Navan and Tralee, although now we wish we had !!!
One thing spoilt it........ the judge at one of the shows, was quite rough going over the dogs and totally freaked my youngster and all the puppies that were entered out....... which was a shame :-( I know from speaking to one of the puppies owners at the end of the week, that they were still very unsettled.
We will definitely be going back now to try and get my boys Irish Championship..... but will probably wait until next year until he matures a bit more as he is only 19 months old.
Ireland was breathtaking........ We also met some lovely people in other breeds which was good......

Thank you paula :) Thankfully dougal was completely fine afterwards but we took him to the vet and he had some rescue remedy and he was quite happy, the vet actually said what a lovely natured dog he was and how it didnt seem to affect him at all.

Hi Paula,
Luckily my young boy is pretty bombproof. He was very spooked at the time and wouldn't let anyone near his mouth or undercarriage for the rest of the day, but by the next show, he seemed to have forgotten all about it.

I felt more sorry for the young puppies........ one of them was absolutely terrified..... It is a shame that the damage is done so young, as not every dog will then get over it. :-(
