Has anyone else heard anything about this. I only have the bare bones of the story.

I've read elsewhere, that 5 dogs were allegedly poisoned four died and another was stolen from it's crate.

It really makes you think about the security, or lack of it, while at a show. :(

How awful! Hearing such things reminds me of why I never leave my dogs unattended at a show. Hope this incident wasn't as serious as it sounds, after all. Hopefully it's been exaggerated a bit.

It's terrible if it has happened and surprising if the person wasn't seen as the munster circuit shows are more the size of open shows than our champ shows but outside.

This is why I also never, ever leave my dogs, where I go my dogs go.

This apparently happened at Clonmel...gundogs & a working breed don't know much more
than this.

I was at this show all day and didn't hear a thing about this happening..........

It was my first time on the circuit and I was surprised by how different it was to English Champ Shows. I could wander in and out of the show with any of my dogs and was not stopped.......

Saying that, I enjoyed it, and will definitely be going back now to try and finish my boys Irish Championship as he had a good start :D ...

That is just awful news  

I was at Clonmel but never heard anything about that until tonight. I'm not sure how true this  is,but i heard that the poison was something to do with a contaminated water supply,and not a deliberate act.Again i don't know how true this is but i heard that 5 dogs had died. i didn't hear anything about a dog being stolen though.
It is something that has made me wunder before though. Some people get to the ringside early to get a place for their cages and then just leave them there unaccompanied and go for breakfast or a walk around the stands, anyone could open the cage and walk off with a small dog. I heard an announcement at Tralee, for the owner of 2 hungarian Puli's to return to their cage as they were half killing each other.The announcement went out a couple of times.

oh my goodness never heard about any dogs being poisoned yikes as for tralee i heard the announcment about the puli's and at clonmel i saw numerous dogs left un attended at the ringside i wouldnt dream of leaving my dogs unattended they are with me at all times and there is always someone minding our tent
