Hi all, I normally use Archie (sheep scanner) to scan my bitches but the number I have for him is not working ,anyone know if he is still in Scotland? Or if someone knows of another scanner.I don`t want to use my vets .

I have sent you an email for a chap who is local to me in Kilwinning in Ayrshrie.

I used to use Archie as well (well worth the hours drive),  this chap scans and treats horses for tendon and other leg problems, he also has a therapy pool for dogs.

Archie was in newzeland scanning sheep not sure if he is back yet, i had to take my bitch up to his dad's farm for her to be scanned if you like i can give you the number

Thanks its his dads farm I`m going to.The number I had was for his house last year before he went to NZ.

Just called Archie number had changed he`s scanning my girl next Wednesday ,he`s now in falkirk.Reason I didn`t want to use vet is because last year she scanned my other girl ,she lifted her where the puppies were onto table,result was after 4 pups I had  to get her c sectioned maybe her being lifted was not to blame but I don`t want to take the chance.She is a good vet apart from this.

Auchincruive college in Ayrshire do scanning, thats where I first went, but lots of vets in the area now have scanners.

Thanks for reply but sheep scanners do scan without shaving and with bitch standing.It`s less stressful.

Auchincruive use a sheep scanner.  Just in case anyone else lives in the area and prefers sheep scanners to vet scanners.
