Congratulations Rox!

Bradford huh, do they know what they are letting themselves in for!! :D
- By earl [fr] Date 17.08.06 11:44 UTC
Well done Rox.  You'll have a ball at Uni.
- By ice_queen Date 17.08.06 14:46 UTC
Kate, there letting themselves in for a lovely, charming, hardworking, well behaved, great asset young lady! :D

After the weekend I will see if I have a job at the pets at home in Bradford aswell.  They are hoping to give me a transfer! :D
- By KateM Date 17.08.06 18:53 UTC
That's what you told them - we know better! :)

Oh a job will really help with the beer money - though that will mean my plans to kidnap you to come handle for me at weekends could go out the window!
- By ice_queen Date 17.08.06 23:11 UTC
Ah but I will only work if I don't have to do weekends :D  I worked out if I take my test thing before I leave the store I'm currently in I will get a pay rise.  if I work 10 hours a week I get just under £60 a week....thast £240 a month, minus a little bit of tax and thats afew pints of beer....Might be able to splash out on wine! :D

However if I'm being kidnapped for vallhund handling I might just be working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D ;) :)

Tracy, I got a C in computing (went up for an AS D) and D in Business (very dissapointing) and a D in psychology (Very surprising!!!)
- By Lindsay Date 18.08.06 05:36 UTC

Well done Roxanne and Cakerine!

I got my results yesterday as well, and I'm now off to Sheffield University to do Biology on the 18th September. So no more worrying about results, now I just have to worry about going to uni (in a nervous excitement sort of way). I wonder when I should start packing...
Evil postman woke me up far too early this morning to sign for a parcel after all my lemonade last night. :p
- By Daisy [gb] Date 18.08.06 09:01 UTC
Well done to you too :) :) Glad that you aren't too bad after all that lemonade ;) :D You'll drink plenty at Uni :D

- By ice_queen Date 18.08.06 09:27 UTC
Well done Brak3n.

I'm excited about going to uni now!  I didn't let myself get to excited before yesterday just in case somethign went wrong but now I can really start buying for uni! :D  I've saved up abit of money which I can just spend now on everything I need (and some wants) to start uni! :D  Plus some should be left over for general living before my loans come in.

I'm also wondering whether to start packing now or not. I think I might collect some boxes this week! :D
- By ice_queen Date 19.09.06 14:13 UTC
Well I arrived here on sunday morning and have settled in.  Loving it here.  Miss home and the dogs but I'm with some really good people in my flat which is really nice.

Really loving it....untill next week when the work begins!
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 19.09.06 14:17 UTC
Great! Freshers' Week is always fun but nerve-racking, getting to know people. You'll be fine! :) :)
- By ice_queen Date 19.09.06 14:19 UTC

- By Carrington Date 20.09.06 18:26 UTC
:-D Yes, Yorkshire water is a really acquired taste, quite bitter in fact, down south it is much sweeter, but I guess we all get used to our own and I'm sure you will get used to it too.  Or buy bottled. ;-)  Really pleased that you have settled in so well and made so many friends already.
- By ice_queen Date 21.09.06 14:10 UTC
Yes it's an acuired tatse.  those from the north find it ok, those from the south can't stand it.  planning on asking parents to bring up south tap water when they visit! :)
