...Molly has her x-ray's on Monday to see if the operation worked on her fornt leg......I really hope it has, it's heart breaking :( seeing her limping around & not being able to do anything to help (although chicken wings seem to have helped, she loves them ! lol) ...wish us luck!!!!

Well it's good news & bad news...

Good news is her front left leg is healing fine, doing really well...:)

Bad news is she torn her left back cruciate ligament & needs to have surgery next Tuesday, :( I know Goat went through this a few weeks back so I'll be re-reading her posts but can anyone help with what to expect recovery wise?  The vet has said he will go through all this with us next week but I'd like to get a head start so any advice would be much appreciated!

I'm off to google it....

Hi Gemma is Molly back home yet ?

Sheila,

Picked her up late last night & she's fine :), very drowsy & keeps crying, more out of frustration than pain I think.  She did have a big bandage on it but she couldn't go to the toilet so the vet said as long as the bleeding had stoppped we could take it off so she can move a bit more freely now.  She's had her breakfast & generally seems okay this morning.  Vet said the op went as well as he expected & she shouldn't have any long term problems with it, but she needs to go back for a check up in 2 weeks time.  So it's general rest for her for the next few days & then gradual small walks to rebuild the strength over the coming weeks!  Such a relief :) to know she's going to be okay, I was so worried all day yesterday :(

Thanks for all your kind words!
