Holly has been in trouble this week! Took her out last night with the new bloke (after 6 weeks I thought it was time they met!) and she was being really good, flying well & obediently, when all of a sudden she came down out of the tree & attacked Irvins face.....missed his eye by eighth of an inch, blood pouring from his temple & nose...ended up in casualty! No lasting damage but frightening to say the least. Took her out again tonight to try & see what it was all about but she behaved perfectly with him. Any ideas Dianne?

Irvine thinks she is jealous 'cos we had a bit of a smooch in the field & it was straight afterwards that she did it! That will teach us!

Perhaps she wanted a 'smacker' too :D

Took her to a friends house last night, she is plagued with rabbits in her hounds' field, so thought I would go & get a few for the pot plus show off Holly's remarkable hunting skills. :rolleyes: Well she sat up a tree refusing to come down for 15 minutes, then missed all the rabbits & went up another tree for 10 minutes. At this point Sue was offering to make up a bed for the night & her hubby suggested getting the gun. Not sure if that was for Holly or the rabbits! The worst of it is that she is our breed notes writer & has a sharp sense of humour, so no doubt it will be weaved into an even more embarassing story next week!

I reckon it was pure jealousy !!!!! :D Now if she REALLY wanted to annoy you, she should know that all she has to do is dress up in stilettoes and behave like a city bird ;)
