No not quite leave him, but at the Bournemouth show is there somewhere he can be 'babysat' whilst I go in to the show or in fact is he allowed in if he is not being shown that day?

There is nothing in the schedule to say if they have a tent for unentered dogs for 'babysitting' - it might be worth calling the show secretary as sometimes there is - can't remember if there was last year or not!

I too have looked at the schedule, there doesn't seem to be an unentered dog tent, maybe because you could have entered your dogs  NFC and therefore they don't provide a tent?

Ahh if you do find out - could you let me know please?  I know that there was one at Paignton for dogs that were not even entered NFC.

I think sometimes they allow both AlisonGold - perhaps for those people who hadn't entered NFC and therefore had an urgent requirement as many still have NFC and then an unentered tent which is usually run by a charity.  But not sure if Bournemouth does or not.  SWKA had a tent too as well as NFC I think?!  memory keeps failing me!! :)

Oh dear, I dont know what NFC is! He is entered but I was hoping to go visiting the day before as I haven't been to a UK show before and wanted to get the lie of the land a bit........I have phoned a lady off the schedule but answerphone and no reply yet. I will keep trying and let you know.

Hi there, there is an unentered dog tent at Bournemouth.  I have used it the last two years for my poodles and bernese.  I think they ask for a donation but a minimum of £5 (dont quote me on that I could be wrong).  Its well worth that anyway, they even take your dog a walk if you want although I just popped in and out of show and took mine myself.  People running it seemed to be really sensible.

Most unenterd dog tents are £5 a dog :) not bad as they get a bench for the day and someone watching them :)

Glad you managed to get through to them and that you have somewhere for your lad!  Enjoy your day having a browse - what day are you going for a look?

I'm going to watch on Sunday and compete on Monday. Cant tell you how excited I am! ;-)

I am showing my 7 month old Chinese Crested.  I'll be showing in ring 11.  Should be benched in tent 3 but I expect I'll set up near the ring.  My girl is entered for MPB and I'll be wearing a brown suit, but not till just before going in the ring LOL.  Ruby is a black and white spotted hairless :)  Maybe see you there?
