Didn't watch the race as was out having lunch with my cousin and her new baby (sweet ickle 6lb now after 4 weeks old little boy called Jake ) today and have just caught up with this
Well done and hope this is the start of many more wins
He was only saying on Top Gear last week how much a win would mean to him :D
Watched it :D Sooooo glad Michael had to stop so close to the end of the race. What a shame ;) He shouldn't be so arrogant, then maybe I'd like him. Hmm. No, never happen. :) Really felt sorry for Kimi, though. He was doing so well (2nd) when he ran into the back of a car that had slowed down to let him overtake it.
Well done Jenson. Let's hope ther's more to come :D
I've never thought of him as arrogant, just scarily efficient and very, very gorgeous phwoooaor :D He was much more friendly to the Ferrari sponsors than Jaques Villeneurve was - now he WAS arrogant (showing how long ago it was that I last went :( )
I have never found Michael Schumacher arrogant either. I have been to the testing day at Silverstone for the past few years and he was the only driver I saw actually sign autographs with a smile on his face, most just put their head down and ignored the fans.
That's great, well done Jenson! It'll be on the front page of our local paper on Thursday - he comes from my home town (and went to the same school as me! Tiny claim to fame there :D)
