Does anyone have a schedule for the open show at the Newark & Notts showground on Saturday 24th Aug? I seem to have entered there but can't find any trace of a schedule! I only discovered the entry when I stumbled across the cheque stub! I think it could be West Melton?? If anyone knows anything - especially a phone number for the Hon. Sec I would be very grateful

Hi Jackie I had the same problem and had to e-mail the sec to find out what I had entered, where it was and the running order, I have it all now so let me know what you want to know and I'll let you know. Ja:)kie

I have a stationary folder for my shedules and when I enter a show I write on the front of shedule which dogs Im entering and tick the classes also then enter the date of show in my diary then I place the entered shedule on opp side.
This being the careful result of several mishaps over the years ie: going to show with wrong dog,going on the wrong day,wrong month,you name it i've done it. :)

Matti, I do keep mine in a ring folder and I have know idea where it is, I said to the secretary I keep them in a folder a she said yes I know. Was a bit puzzled by that until she sent me a photocopy of my entry and I saw the four holes. Ja:)kie

Think there will be a replacement judge as sadly Colin Jackson died a couple of weeks ago (if this is the same Colin Jackson of English Springer fame)

I'm sorry to hear that, the affix is Loweview and he has or had a lot of breeds. Think it may well be because springers & Americans are a different judge. The secretary did not tell me but then I don't suppose she thought it would concern me. Jackie

I use a bum bag for keeping my valuables, bait and poo bads in when showing (yes I know it makes me look pregnant under my jacket :D), and when I enter a show I fold the schedule and put it in there in order. This does mean that at any one time I may be carrying several schedules for shows I have entered! But when someone asks me if I am free on x day I just look through them and know.
