Hello :)

Can anyone recommend a veterinary practice in the Hertfordshire area? One that is open to raw feeding and alternative treatments (homeopathy etc) would be a bonus :D

Thanks!

Hi there, we go there already :D We have found him v.good, although he is just more of an alternative treatment center isn't he. We are looking to switch our regular vets as we are having a lot of conflicts of opinions with them - e.g we thought we had finally (3 consultations later!) talked our vet into taking blood from our itchy dog to send to yorktest (she hadn't even heard of them, so I gave her their phone number etc and she claimed to have spoken to them) - we arrived at the arranged appointment a week later and were met with a refusal to take the blood, because she doesn't agree that allergy tests prove anything. Instead she prescribed steroids! Was not impressed

Thanks anyway!

Hi Zarah
Sorry I can't help, I came across Richard Allport's website when I was looking for info on the safety of vaccines and took his advice on vaccinations for my puppy!  I've also seen that he writes articles in Dogs Today magazine so thought he must be good!
Good luck, I'm sure someone will be able to help on the forum!
