Well done Mari and Berry :-)
Does anyone know if the Irish Munster Circuit show results are online somewhere ? I've tried www.irishdogsonline.com but it only has judge info and not results. :-(
Thanks.

Hi Claire I do not think you will get the results untill it is over .
I am not sure but will ask tomorrow if they are up anywhere .
I doubt it though as all involved are actually at the circuit.
The Cannine press And Our dogs are all taking photos, and notes .
They also exhibit so I guess at this stage they are all in a pub in killarney having a ball :D :D :D
Mari
Congratulations. Hope you do really well for the rest of the curcuit too! :)
Are the working & pastoral breeds the same day as the Shar Pei?
It just I'm trying to reach my friends who have recently moved
to Eire and the mobile network is always busy!
I have tried texting but to no avail.
If anyone sees a nutty b/w Boxer dog called Wisella Manfred Man at
Teldeeann owned by Mr & Mrs Bonner could they please tell them that Kirstine has tried getting into contact to make sure they are ok.
Pls ask them to ring me at home, I want to know that they are ok etc.
Thanks Everso

Yes, each show is a one day show so all breeds are on the same day.

Thanks Mari :-)
How does the circuit work? Do you have to do all the shows or just the ones you want ?
By fleetgold
Date 19.08.02 20:51 UTC
Just the ones you want to do. They are 4 separate shows but most people do them all. I've been over from the UK 3 times and have thoroughly enjoyed them all, so much more informal than the shows in the UK. First show I went to I was waiting for the Griff classes and watching the breeds before when someone put their dog on the table and turned to have a chat with the steward. Handler and steward went on having a great chat, with handler absolutely oblivious of the dog and the judge as judge tried to examine the dog. First announcement I heard over the loud speaker was:
"If Mr X, the Veterinary Surgeon, is here would he please come to the Secretary's tent. If he is not here would he please come to the Secretary's tent when he arrives."
They are always held outside, whatever the weather.

I see the Bonners in the catalogue but they have their english addy on it
I will take a look tomorrow
I am supposed to be in bed cant sleep .
The gundog group was won by a golden retriever.from england
the utility a keeshund from ireland .
The working group a boxer from england
dont know the names but will get them later
As Joan said claire you can decide which ones you do.
The circuit is a team effort by the four different clubs and all praise to them for the way they run it making it a week of pure pleasure for all exhibitors.

Ok Pam will try . There was so many there sunday I could not find anyone , have names now so will have another go Mari
Thanks Mari,
They've only been out in Eire for just 2 weeks. They live near Abbyfeale
now.
You can't miss Dee, she has a cracking sense of humour too,
she has a son teenager that is very tall for his age, and her hubby Terry.
He shows the dog.
If you know of Wendy Brooks (Jinnybrux) or the Payne's that have Boxers their affix is Willow. They should be able to point them out or if
they can pass the message on I'd be most grateful :)
I hope to be able to come over and do the curcuit next year,
I am quite looking forward to it, apart from the ferry crossing that is!
My friends have done the curcuit for quite some years now and they always sing it's praises (one of the resons they moved to Eire as the people were so nice)

Hannah, my 13 year old was showing her 8 month old Min Pin on Sunday. She was given a reserve green star so was really pleased. It was nice for her to have good news. (Some of you will know that Hannahs poodle Sweetie was killed in a car crash a couple of weeks ago) She is enjoying it over there so far.

Thanks everso much Mari, I really appreciate it.
I've been so worried about them, I knew they'd probably be fine.
But you know what its like ;)
Gosh isn't it a small world, I know Mrs Payne thru a friend that has one
of her dogs here in UK. She's ever so nice her name is Daisy and we met thru champ shows, her affix is Daiszana(sp?).
Hope your good run with Berry continues :)
Kindest Regards
Kirstine
Did you have a show today Mari? (How did you do?)
I can't remember what days they were on.
All I know its a week of show one day rest the next
(probably so the people can enjoy an evening in the bar and recover the next day ;) )
Kind Regards
Kirstine
