Has anyone had e-mails from someone pretending to belong to Nat West and asking you to go on a website to correct your details etc.? I've had two today !
Don't know about Nat West but I get them all the time from ebay and the like. If in any doubt at all, and it's pretty certain you will never be asked for details in this manner, go to their web site (not via the email) or phone them and check, never respond to the address given in the email.

There a mega loads of these around :) They can seem to come from any bank - sometimes American banks. Just delete them - do not open them. They are phishing - trying to get people to go to what look like genuine sites and enter their login details :( :( Your bank will never communicate with you in this way. If you ever have a query, always go to your bank by the normal route - ie never go via a link in one of these emails :)
It is a phishing email ...just delete it ..never respond to any emails from a bank, building society, ebay, paypal or anywhere else :) They are just after your details ;)
For the last couple of weeks, I have had at least 4/5 of these emails every day including those from someone saying they have an amount to give me from their late aunts estate etc! These ones get deleted straightaway without even touching them! If there was a genuine problem with an account, the bank would write/post a letter to you and ask you to visit your local branch to discuss etc. :)
I had one the other day from my bank (Halifax) and it looked so real too! I clicked the link that took you to the sign in details and the page was exactly the same layout as the real thing, i wasnt going to sign in or anything just wanted to see what it did, and it all looked the exact same as the online banking sign in page but in the address bar was a totally different address.
