Thats brill..... thanks everyone

Hi Lynn, I phoned Miss Betts direct. Before I even spoke, she said "I bet you want some Thornit". I got it within 3 days and its worked wonders with my labs ears after endless trips to the vets and various ear drops. Its also worked for my hubbys athletes foot. (He still won't sit and stay though!!)

Would this be a good preventitive for a ESS? Her ears are fine at the mo, but I'd rather
prevent than have to cure an irritant.
If so any guide on what 'regular' should be interpreted as ?
Alan
Hi Alan, the Thornit info suggests a pinch in each ear once a week as a preventative. Hope this helps you.

Hi Dudley, Do you mind if I ask youwhat it cost you? I phoned the Champion Pets Shop as suggested above and they charged £6.20 for 20g and £1 P & P and it was here the next day. I have been using it in my weims ear (only one is bad) and it really working wonders, they smell much better and are not a squelchy..... I would recommend it to anyone. Didnt realise it helped athletes foot too, maybe it will help my hubbys feet... Thanks

The price list (from 01.07.2000) that came with my order from Miss Betts was:-
Bottle 20gms.....£7
Kennel Pack 100gms....£18
You can also buy several bottles at a time and save money.
(Prices include postage and packing)
Ditto Liz, £7 for 20 gm. My friend who shows, says its usually available at the bigger shows. I love the smell of it. It reminds me of the stuff my mum and dad used when they bred cocker spaniels back in the 50's. Maybe its the same formula. Its also recommended for itchy pads (hence the athletes foot connection I presume).

It is slightly cheaper from the source if you considering that the price of £7 INCLUDES post and packaging. Also if you buy in larger quantities it is MUCH cheaper. As you say though, the fact that it works is the most important thing!
