Can't decide which one i like. :confused:

Am trying Persil at the moment and the clothes smell lovely when i get them out of the washing machine but when they've been in the dryer the smell seems to have gone.

Can anyone recommend a powder that leaves a nice scent with the clothes after they've been dried.
Or is it the fabric conditioner that makes the difference , im not sure so any views here would be helpful too please!

Thanks , Kate

Bold 2 in 1 Lavender & Chamomile for me - lovely, particularly for bedding and towels.

Same here.
Well I get the 90 load packs of bold and use which ever one they have available, but the ~Lavender and chamomile is lovely :)

Daz and then the fabric conditioner that has Fre-breeze in it, can't remember if it's Lenor or Comfort.

The smell stays if they've been dried on the line in the fresh air. ;)

Pink Lenor leaves a really nice smell. For coloured clothes I use Ariel Colour, for whites Daz.

I'm a 'chuck a sheet of Bounce in the dryer' Girl! (its pretty potent stuff, my whole laundry room smells of it)

'Pillow Mists' are great too I use a L'Occitane one Mmmm! was my saviour when working overseas to spritz Hotel beds with and not feel homesick!

I quite like the Comfort Lilly and Riceflower Ironing water.. (But Ironing is a rare occurence..I avoid where possible!! ;))

This has just made me stop and think. I've been using Surf for years as my oldest daughter was allergic to anything else :eek: But she move out last year ;) I can now go out and try all the others :D

I use the Citrus Blast Daz along with a fabric conditioner, used Daz for years as cant have Ariel or Bold because of my skin. Dont like Persil as I found through time the clothes faded with it.

~~~ Waves ~~~ :D
I use Citrus Blast Daz too - I tumble dry everything (norty, I know :rolleyes: ) and the laundry is still scented when it comes out for folding :)
I either use daz or Ariel biological and comfort lily and rice flower. I used to use the comfort silk but they no longer make it. Lily and riceflower has a similar smell. most of the time i line dry (now pups have stopped swinging off the rotary drier :rolleyes:) but do use a tumbler aswell and both ways washing comes out smelling nice and clean (still prefer line dried bed sheets ;-) )
Aldi's washing powder smells really great, followed by Tesco's PURE fabric softener.  For some reason the combination is absolutely lovely :) :)
Hi
Am I the only person who hates smelling of washing powder. I dont buy anything with a strong smell. It gives me a headache but I hate smelling of it. I buy nice perfume and want to smell of that lol
No, you are not the only one :)  Some aren't too bad when they are very subtle but sometimes you find yourself in a lift with someone smelling like the laundry aisle in Tescos and you wonder what they do for Christmas presents :)
Blow it away on the line.
I use Almat from Aldi, its cheap (£2-99) and cleans clothes well, except if you are say washing fleece's or sleeping bags, then I have to use Bold liquid. But I use a fabric conditioner which makes the clothes smell nice.
