My 2 dogs are barf fed, but recently havent been eating as much in this hot weather. Also, I havent been buying as much veg lately, and judging by the quality of it in the greengrocers yesterday, neither has anyone else  I'm running out of frozen veg now, using the last today in there breakfast. My cocker will eat fruit, but the weimy wont, he turns his nose up at it. He does like icelollies though, so I was thinking of freezing some live yogurt with pulped fresh fruit in it, (you'd think he was a kid wouldnt you) to replace the veg hes missing out on. I was just wondering if anyone could suggest what fruit to use, that he might not notice so much. Also what do you reckon, ice cube size portions or stick it in his kong? Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

Hi Sue,
If you live anywhere near an Ikea store I found some great 'Giant' Icecube trays..they are rubber ( plastic ones always crack!) and make a cube about 3and a half inches by 3 and a half (or 9cmsx9cms) My two are enjoying their Icelollies this way.
:) ( I have a picky veggie eater and so put a little chopped liver in with it (blended)..Mmmmm..liver and veg lolly! remind me never to wish I was a dog!!)

Thanks huskygal, plastic icecube trays are useless. Hope you never get your dogs icecubes mixed up with the humans :-) although if your anything like me, your dogs will have there own freezer. The things we do for our doggies.

Have you tried cucumber. We thought one of our neighbours was stealing the cucumbers out of our greenhouse. Turned out to be the dogs. At least it explained the farting!!
