can you put profleece in the washing machine.my bitch had her pups on wednesday and already it is getting really dirty(on my second piece).i need to no if you can wash it and if so at what temperture.

I don't have profleece, I don't think, but I think they are all the same for washing.  I do mine on the woollen programme normally but a hot wash when I have a litter although that may well shorten it's life.  I don't use biological though and I tumble dry for shoftness when it is a litter bed.

thankyou for that have put it on a hot wash as it is for a litter.i stupidly decided to buy it in white as i thought it would look cleaner how wrong was i oh well

In my experience the white lasts much longer :)  I think the dyes damage it somehow and really it's not such a bad think if you can see it's dirty is it? ;)

I have profleece and the original vet bed.... and both go in the machine at 90 when used with pups (60 at any other time).... yes the vetbed does come up a little better re; wear and tear... but the profleece I'm using on this litter have seen 2 previous litters and 3 years of washing, still looks good and still doing the job it's meant to....

I have profleece, I change it two or three times a DAY when I have new born litter and give it a full 60 degree wash

I still have my pieces of Pro-Fleece from litters 4 years and almost 6 years ago, I use them for my old girl who's incontinent so they are all washed at least once a day and come up well.

white is excellent as you can see any blood spots should there be a problem plus it encourages you to put new pieces down every few hours to keep it all clean looking!!

I've recently used profleece for the first time.  I bought 8 pieces so I could change 4 times a day, and didn't realise just how quick it dries.  I don't tumble dry, just put it on an airer, the 4 pieces I wash one day, are always completely dry by the next.  I put it on a 40 degree synthetic wash.  Mine is all a very pale grey and shows every mark, which I like really, I want to know if there is anything going on.  It will be used again for my litter born today, and it does look as if it will stand up to a good bit of washing yet.
