Are these too fatty

The girls are looking very contented snoring away next to me but too much fat as the meat/bone/fat ratio was too much ??
I am right or wrong

They are very fatty yes! but also very tasty :-D I feed these to blade when he is looking on the slim side and they put weight on him pretty quick so I should imagine it is very high fat.

I feed these a couple of times a week and just maike sure that they are counter balanced with a less fatty meat such as chicken or rabbit.

They probably would be too much fat if given for every meal, but for rmb purposes a few times per week they shouldnt hurt.
Remember dogs process fat differently to us,they NEED it,and alot more than most commercial foods provide. They turn fat into energy, and carbs and grains into fat.Ofcourse if more energy/calories are going in than is being put out they will gain weight, which is why exercise is so important, not only for physical well being, but mental as well :)

They might be L, but then again they may not:eek: :D

A couple of my younger ones took a little time to get used to them so I used to give them smaller portions & gradually built it up to a sheet of about 8 ribs, depending on sze & weight of them. The adult dogs have never had a prob with them.  If your girls are looking content & snoring heads off I`d say you`ve got it right :D But you should know by today if you are or not ;) :D

Well Jasper will be having his first lamb breast bone today - hopefully he'll enjoy it as much as he does chicken wings!
