When my wanderer returns or when the cat trap actually works or when we manage to catch her with the aid of nets & 10,000 volunteers...I've decided that Zelli would probably benefit from some company in day to day life and I wouldn't feel so bad when I go away to a dog show overnight & leave her (I'm afraid I'm not trusting my sister with her again!).

I would love another tippie but what I want isn't being bred yet, I have managed to locate a beautiful BSH black tortie kitten, wonderfully bred and a breeder who is so helpful, she has said as she hasn't named (GCCF registered names) the kitten or her brothers yet as they are only 8 weeks old, I've been given the option of naming her if I want.    The breeder's prefix is 11 letters long and the name can only be max. of 26.

I have a few ideas but can anyone think of anything appropriate as to regards her colour, breed etc.

It's over to you...................

Just remember the 26 is including any spaces between words. :)
- By Lily Mc [gb] Date 19.07.06 12:03 UTC
And only three words, including prefix, if I remember correctly?

No the rules have been changed, there are no limit to the number of words anymore.

What's the prefix, Christine, to see which names will 'go' with it? (PM me if you prefer.)

Thanks for those.

I really liked Cinnamon Girl, which is the name of a song too but I was told by the breeder the GCCF might not accept it because it is a colour not in the breed name/colour variety!  I've got a pet name to think up too!

I thought about C********** Mosaic and calling her Maisy, or is that rubbish?
- By Lily Mc [gb] Date 19.07.06 13:03 UTC
I like that. Like the name Maisy but already have a Daisy so that would just be toooooooo confusing.

Sent the kitten photos to you, tell me what you think, I think she is just scrumptious.  What a colour contast - a black tipped and a black tortie!

Definitely going for C********** Mosaic and calling her Maisie, she was born in May too and Sue, her breeder, says she looks like a Maisie.
