Just wasting time waiting for hospital transport to bring OH back from one of the London hospitals - which means I don't have to drive through centre of London again today.
For all of you who replied to my previous post he has decided to go ahead with the first month of the drug trial but will review it after that.
He had 5 litres of fluid drained from around his lung and now weighs 4kg lighter - no wonder he was feeling so rough. His breathing has improved no end and he looks so much better than he did and we can't wait for him to be delivered safely back home again :) :) :)

Pleased to hear he is feeling better,our patients regularly get loads of fluid drained from their chests and the difference is almost immediate,it's hard to believe where it has all come from,the pressure put on the lungs is tremmendous.

Keep us updated with how he is doing,he is being sensible taking it one step at a time.

Will be thinking of you and keeping everything crossed.
