hi, my daughters friend has a 2yr old bitch & a 6 month old dog, both pugs. last night , the friend came home from work to find them tied in the kitchen . the bitch had shown no signs of been in season, no bleeding or discharge . the question i have been asked is, would a 6 month old dog be able to get her pregnant ?
thankyou

Yes is the answer My first BC's father was 5 1/2 months old when she was conceived(way back in the 1960's BTW)

Most definitely.

I don't know if it applies to Pugs, but it seems that colourless seasons are pretty common in some Toy breeds.

It is not unheard of for a bitch to be mated when not in season (rare for her to allow it) so it may be worth your sister getting the bitch blood tested to see if she has recently ovulated.

I agree , I think it is very common colourless seasons.  Mine all seem to have them also or only the very very faint colour. They always swell though.
