Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / Kennel Club - any help in tracing dog ?

We have unfortunately lost touch with one of our Maggie's offspring - he went to a very nice family in a nearby town, and they adored him. We met up with them when he was 16 months old in a local country park, and had a lovely morning with all the dogs and their two boys playing together. Shortly after this they had a new baby, who had some health problems, and the dog went to a relative's friend on a temporary basis. To cut a long story short, this became permanent and said friend has now moved elsewhere without leaving an address.:-( I'm sure the dog has an excellent home, by all accounts, but we did so want to keep in touch with all Maggie's puppy owners, and now it seems we can't. :-( I did ask the first owners if the new owner has the KC papers, but they haven't replied. If she has changed the registration, would the KC be allowed to let me know?

If the new owners transfer the pup into their ownership, it'll be printed in the BRS for that quarter.

You can write a letter to the new owners and send it to the KC, who will then forward it on for you, then it's up to the new owners to contact you if they want to.

The KC cannot give out the owners details.
