That brought back memories. :) I don't have a talker now but we used to have a sheltie who held long conversations, especially with my husband. She had the most amazing repetoire of grumbles, mumbles and warbles. :)

Glazby talks to me but not to OH.  I can generally tell exactly what he's saying too!!  He'll give me deep throaty growls, little "oofs" which are quite high pitched and "owowowowows"!!  I answer him and he loves it - we often sit for maybe 10 minutes at a time having these little chats!!  :cool:

Yes my Fynn is the talker in our lot, jas and charanda described her talk perfectly, i love the conversations we have.

Yep,my peg dog has a series of woofs and whinges,when she has had to have something done at the vets says nothing on the way in,but when I go to collect her,I get a full on report,which roughly translates  into 'Do you know what they have done to me?,get me out of here'
