I think my daft dog has become a man!! Tyler my goldie who is full of beans and sometimes annoys the older dogs with his playfulness, was playing with a tiny puppy at the weekend and after a mad 10 mins he laid down. Obviously had enough but ickle puppy hadn't and kept jumping on him, so Tyler kept moving away but the puppy didn't give up, so after a while Tyler let out a deep bark!! and the little puppy rolled over and left him alone. It was very strange as he can normally go on and on, am i hopefully right in thinking he may be calming down and losing some of the crazyiness? He still like to play but obviously the puppy had far more energy than Mr T.

LOL no chance, Goldens don't calm down! :) Could be the heat! It's affecting all my dogs. My 3 year old Golden loves nothing more than having an entire litter of pups jump at him, he's the best babysitter there is. I think most of mine over the years have got a bit less energetic aged about 8 or 9. :D

Awww bless him, must admit i am quite partial to a litter of puppies jumping all over me as well!!
