Hi on some of my pups were born with lovely black noses but the colour is fading abit is there any thing  i can use to restore the black any advice would be welcome.

Dogs noses are all to do with coat colour genetics, so the right breeding is essential.

If it were the winter time I would say not to worry as temperature especially the colder months can cause the pigmentation to fade, only to return again in the summer, but doubtful at this time of year, hormones and chemicals can also change the pigment. Are the pups on medication?

As far as I know there is nothing you can use to change the nose back to black, it will be a fault but not a disqualification for a show dog, (unless it is a pure pink pigment.) sorry not much help I know, but I don't think there is anything to be done.

Elderberry and nettle from dorwest .I had this problem with one of my girls as long as they had pigmentation to start with  it will return but be prepared to wait as it does take a few months during the winter you can change over to seaweed kelp also from dorwest.

Ruby and blenheim Cavs can often have a problem with nose pigment, my blenheim boy's goes very off in the winter. I use elderberry & nettle, and also kelp tablets, and they do help somewhat. :-)

I use seaweed powder to help with pigment. Just mix a tea spoon full in with their food. It certainly helped when my boy was on steroids:rolleyes:
