Well it makes a change from footie and tennis:cool:

Just enjoyed watching the Hickstead Derby on TV, then Clare Balding mentioned that the admission was £105 for a family of 4:eek::eek: Now thats before you buy a drink, bite to eat heavens forbid a souvenir of the day........I know keeping horses is an expensive business, but really........how can they justify such shocking prices for a day out:rolleyes::confused:

We went to Highland show last weekend and it too is a bit expensive, It was £5 to park, £18 each to get in and £5 for a catalogue so we had spent the best part of £50 before we even stepped over the gate!!  Have to say it was a great day out and at least it is only once a year.

I went to the Highland Show with my nieces, kids get in free, and we feasted on samples and freebies in the food hall - wasn't too expensive a day out if you do it that way :D  Well worth the £16 entry (booked online in advance) and £5 parking to see the quack commandos alone :)

Bumping this up to say that if anyone wants tickets for the The Longines Royal International Horse Show (26th - 30th July 2006, but the tickets only grant entry for one day for two people & you obviously have to pay for parking yourself), then PM me. I get complimentary tickets and have 2 spare for this show -- first come, first served :).

There's still enough time for me to send them through the post.
