We had a lovely day with my newf at Windsor had not been around the show ring for ages as my father died of cancer at xmas , so as you can imagine everything has been a bit bleak for me over the last few months,  but we went along with my 6 month old puppy ( Flo ) and my limit bitch  (Willow ) and blow me down if Willow not only wins the limit class she also won the BCC and RBOB and BOS.
As you can imagine i cried ( lots )!!
I am on cloud nine and will be for ages yet, maybe this year will be better for me.
The only downside to the day was over the tannoy they kept anouncing that there were dogs in cars in this heat.
At one point it was 32 degrees at the showground, can you imagine leaving your dogs in a car in that heat,
I think they should name shame and ban for life!!

We normally take our dogs everywhere with us but in this heat I have been having my Mum's over during the day whilst she is out,she can then keep cool with my 2. Some folk just don't think.

As for the dogs in cars I was trying to think of some way they could identify the drivers and shame them publicly and ban then from the next shows and report to the kennel club.

there was a severely distressed Borzoi in a car on Friday with the temperature over 30'C.

WOW well done...do they give you something for RBOB and BOS then??? I didn't realise that...I thought you just got the BOB then nothing for anyone else!! Just shows you I never won much LOL You must know me if you show Newfs?? I'm the short fat one, incredibley good looking and own a Bigtops bitch? I'm sure I've spoken to you a couple of time?? Well done again, smashing day for you...I haven't been to hardly any shows since last October as I've had both my hips done this year...I gotta get me knee done too this Summer, so don't expect I shall be around much for another 6 months!!! Hi Dawn , yes we have spoken in the past i'm sure, yes you do get something for BOS free food and a prize of your choice and a pedigree sticker, i had the travel blanket as it is great for the car when they have been swimming, nice and big and speads out very well.

well we will see if i am at shows around oct / nov as hopefully ( fingers crossed ) Willow will have maternal duties to attend to.
