I have to confess that Gemma came up to bed with me after the first noight of me sleeping on the sofa and getting hardly any sleep for the second night in a row!!!! but she does Plod up and down the stairs and the vet today said that was fine.
She had her stitches out today, and is back to normal duties, although was told no heavy lifting ;) LOL
So thats it. 2 weeks to the day since I was so very scared I was going to lose her she is as right as rain.
At the time there was a thread on here,
'What you have learned from Champdogs'
Well, I learnt what Pyo was, the symptoms to look out for and that probably saved Gemmas life.
If I had not been reading this site I may well have put it down to a funnyt season due to old age nd I could well have lost her.
THANKYOU CHAMPDOGS FOR HELPING TO SAVE MY DOGS LIFE
Lea :)
