Odorkill is good - there has been a thread about this recently, if you do a search for odorkill, it should come up, also with a link of how to get hold of it.  Some people also use biological washing powder/liquid dissolved in water.

biological washing powder/liquid dissolved in water

Yep.  Quick, easy, cheap and it works! :D

I also use bio liquid in really hot water.

I always have a watering can filled with 2 bio wash tabs and a good glug of bleach then water - as soon as Harvey has a wee I rinse with this solution and my garden never smells HOWEVER..........we have no grass at the moment but we are moving into our new house this week and we have a lawn. Does anyone know what I can use on the lawn to disinfect where Harvey wee's without killing the grass?

Just water the lawn, don't bother about disinfecting it! Urine is biodegradeable and a natural fertiliser. :)

Don't use water over 60f or you'll kill the bio (enzymes)! :D

Yeah, I use Sainsburys Savers bio washing liquid.

It does make the yard smell like a laundry, though.

Better than smelling like a toilet, though! ;)

Try http://www.bactonature.com - purpose made and very economical :)

I thought the bactonature odour eliminator was excellent but not cheap! I bought the 5l one for £34 and it lasted almost two weeks. This was diluting as per instructions and using a watering can to sprinkle the back, paved, garden every night. £60 to £70 a month to stop the garden smelling is a bit steep for me. I'm back to hosing it down every night with tesco value bleach, 28p a day :)

 £60 - £70 per month on disinfecting the grass???:eek: I don't think so some how - not with the mortgage we have just taken on To be honest, I am trying to talk my husband round to removing the grass and having a nice, contempary, low maintenance garden but he's having none of it:rolleyes: We are having it landscaped so perhaps I could have a word with the company to brainwash him!
