hi,
I posted a while ago re my springer who previously ruptured his cruciate ligaments (both back legs). He is now suffering from arthritis and has been given tablets from the vet to take for a month. He already has glucosamine and cod liver oil. Yesterday, I purchased a bioflow collar as have read good things about them on here. My question is this, which I am sorry it may seem silly but just wanted to check it was ok for the collar to get wet, as Archie loves to go in the water and it would be a pain to have to keep taking it off! I have read the info that came with it but it doesnt mention if the magnet is ok or not to get wet.
Hope you can help.
Nikki.
I have seen startling results with a bitch with terrible, crippling arthritis who I would probably have had put to sleep, who went on live comfortably for several more years. As a result, I used one for my bitch when she broke her leg. Hers got wet all the time, she loves diving into really deep puddles (not unlike a RR) and the magnet was fine. I wear a bangle and it's always getting wet. You may need to wash the collar every now and again as they can get smelly.

I wear a bioflow and never take it off, even in the bath! ;)
Yes, it's fine to get wet. I where a leather one now, but my first one was the basic fabric with the velcro strap. I used to wear it in the bath and it washed beautifully!! :)
