just thought id tell everyone that me and me little mutt Dillon had Reserve Best Puppy in Show today at the St Mellons Agriculture Show

Not a major win i know, but not bad for a Stafford
it earned him a few sausages for his Tea :)

that's pretty major in my book, and is the highest award I have ever had at an open show!!

It is quite a co-icidence, as the BPIS was the Norwegian Elkhound that 3 freinds and I own jointly! He is 9 months today, and came out of Quarantine less than 4 weeks ago!

thats quite an acheivment for one just out of quarantine

i have to admit to having a kind of tunnel vision when in the show ring
i tend to lose myself in concentrating on my dog and the judge
everything else gets blocked out
so i cant remember much about what dog won Best Puppy sorry
although i do remember it was quite large ( well, bigger than a Stafford:))
and that the lady at the other end of the lead seemed very pleased when i was speaking to her just after :D:D

No I don't drive, so do a limited number of shows. He was at Mountsorrel on Sunday, where he also went BPIS. These were practice shows for his first Ch show on Friday, so hope his luck holds, and the judge likes him!

He is only a little over 20 inches tall, so not a big dog really :D
